Partners in Prevention addresses community barriers by inspiring hope, connecting partners and building trusting relationships that transform lives.

Program Areas

Coalition for Drug-Free Youth – The Coalition for Drug-Free Youth is a collaboration of organizations and citizens working to reduce crime and youth substance use through community mobilization to change attitudes, behaviors and regulations to create a healthier community and protect our youth.

East Texas Anti-Trafficking Team - The East Texas Anti-Trafficking Team concentrates on the East Texas area to raise awareness through community education, prevention efforts, networking and collaboration to combat human trafficking.

Longview Bridges Out of Poverty – The mission of Longview Bridges Out of Poverty is to eradicate and alleviate poverty through awareness, education and collaborative efforts in the community.

Mentoring Programs – Forever Friends and Co-Pilots provides one-to-one mentoring to youth in need of a caring adult role model in the Longview, Pine Tree, Spring Hill, Kilgore and Hallsville Independent School Districts.

Unity and Diversity Committee – The Unity and Diversity Committee seeks to overcome barriers to the full inclusion of all community members by:

  • Protecting human rights
  • Challenging discrimination, and
  • Celebrating diversity and commonality.
