he City of Longview has a customized email newsletter system that allows residents to receive information about City government and services. With optional subscription subcategories, subscribers are able to pick and choose the content relative to them. Individual recipients may edit their preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

How to subscribe:

1. Enter your email address in the box above. 
2. Select the categories of interest to you.
3. Click Subscribe.  
4. A confirmation email will be sent to your address. Open that email and confirm your subscription. (If you don't receive the confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder.)

How to change preferences or unsubscribe:

1. Open any email newsletter received from the City of Longview.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the newsletter and select either "Preferences" or "Unsubscribe." 
3. Follow the on-screen steps to update your preferences.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to your address. Open that email and confirm your update.

Emergency Notification and Weather Warning System
The Emergency Notification system is completely separate from the Email Newsletter system mentioned above. The Emergency Notification and Weather Warning System is managed by the Longview Public Safety Communications through a contract with CodeRED. Employment Opportunities Notification: Job Interest Card
The City of Longview also offers email notifications of new job opportunities. As part of the Human Resources Department's NEOGov Software, job seekers may sign up to receive notifications about particular job categories.
