Ten Teams participate in Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Men's 45 and Over Basketball Tournament
(Longview, TX) In addition to the 142 youth baseball and soccer teams in Longview this weekend, an older crowd will also be competing in a statewide tournament. The Longview Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Texas Amateur Ahtletic Federation Men's 45-&-Over Invitational Basketball Tournament this Saturday, April 14. There will be ten teams from across Texas participating in the single-elimination tournament with a consolation bracket.
Games will take place in the Judson Middle School Boys and Girls Gyms beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Championship and consolation championship games will take place at 6:00 p.m.
Teams participating are from Stephenville, Corpus Christi, Fort Worth, Houston, Dallas, Arlington, Desoto, Temple, Pasadena, Georgetown, and Marshall.
