Finance
The Financial Services department is responsible for managing the City’s financial affairs.  The department is comprised of Finance, Purchasing, and Water Utilities divisions.  

The Finance division is responsible for developing, administering, monitoring, and accounting of the City’s financial policies and affairs.  Major functions include fiscal oversight, investments, cash and debt management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting of the City’s capital assets, capital improvements program, and grant administration.  The Finance division is also responsible for preparation of the City’s quarterly investment report, compilation and preparation of the annual City budget, coordination of the annual financial audit, and preparation of the annual Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
