Fireworks and Freedom Celebration

The City of Longview will hold the 4th of July Fireworks and Freedom Celebration at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. There will be activities throughout the day, including amusement rides, a hot dog eating contest, numerous children’s activities, a variety of entertainment, including free concerts, food and beverages, vendors in the Exhibit Building, a Patriotic Pup Fashion Show, Tutu's and Troops Children's Fashion Show, Hot Dog Weiner Dog Races, Texas Star Rescue Dog Adoption Trailer, and much more! The festival opens at 11:00 a.m. and the day’s activities will be topped off with a spectacular firework display that will start at 9:30 p.m. Festival admission, parking and the firework show are free to the public; however, prices will vary for individual activities. No BYOB or outside coolers allowed. The 4th of July Fireworks and Freedom Celebration is sponsored by the City of Longview and several other community sponsors.
