The Sanitation Department observes three holidays. This includes collection for trash, recycling, yard waste and bulky item pick up.
- Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 23, 2023
- Thursday's Trash and Recycling will be collected on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
- Christmas – Monday, December 25, 2023 (Day off)
- Your collection day will shift one day for the week of December 25-29. For example, Monday's collection will be picked up on Tuesday. Bulky item service will be suspended the week after Christmas.
- New Year’s Day – Monday, January 1, 2024 (Day off)
- Your collection day will shift one day for the week of January 1-5, 2024. For example, Monday's collection will be picked up on Tuesday. Bulky item service will be suspended the week after New Year's Day.
*If your pick-up day falls on a holiday, it will be pushed to the following day and the following day will be pushed to the following day and so forth.
