Q. I have a lot of leaves, grass clippings, or other yard waste how do I dispose of it?
A. Yard waste can be disposed of in a few ways. It can be put in your trash cart to be taken to the landfill. You can also put your yard waste in paper yard waste bags or loose in a personal container(s) then it will be taken to our compost facility where it will become useful compost that we give to our residents. If yard waste is placed in a personal container(s), please label the container, “YARD WASTE”.
Q. What items are accepted for a bulky item pick up?
A. We will collect large branches over 3 feet and no longer than 10 feet. If the branches are under 3 feet, they should be bundled for regular yard waste collection or must fit inside of your trash cart for disposal at the landfill. Furniture or other large items that will not fit inside the garbage cart can be collected as part of the bulky item service. Please note there is an additional charge to pick up demolition materials, carpeting, mattresses, box springs and large appliances. Check here for a list of items that can be collected.
