Who is eligible?
Applicants must be residents of Gregg County or a City served by the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center including Longview, Kilgore, Gladewater or White Oak. Applicants must have a combined annual household income of less than $50,000.
How much does it cost to sponsor a voucher?
Those wishing to support the program can cover the cost of a voucher with a donation of $100.
What types of animals are eligible?
The Spay it Forward program is only eligible for dogs and cats.
How many animals are eligible?
A household can receive two vouchers for the Spay it Forward program in a six-month period.
How long do I have to use my voucher?
Vouchers are valid for six months from the date they are issued.
Does the voucher cover the whole cost of the spay or neuter operation?
The voucher covers $100 towards the procedure. For some veterinarians this may cover the full amount. For others it will reduce the cost of a spay or neuter procedure.

Most veterinarians in Gregg County participate with the Spay it Forward program. Check out the list of area veterinarians.
