A 3-day course meeting the TCOLE requirements for new supervisor training. This course provides training vital to effective leadership and administrative tasks. Topics will cover ethics, effective communication, leadership styles, counseling, planning and organizing, and cultural diversity. This course is being conducted by Scott McCollum, the current Associate Division Director of the Institute for Law Enforcement and Protective Services Excellence at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. He is an experienced Chief of Police with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Scott has over 35 years experience in law enforcement, policy, budget, crisis management & communication, project management, and facility & technology implementations.
