Indie Author Day
Saturday, November 5, 2022
Spread the word! Indie Author Day is coming back!
And we have a group of local East TX based authors ready to share their writing experience and insight with you!
November 5, from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
Indie Author Day will be held in-person at the library and stream virtually on the Library’s Facebook page via FB Live.
We’ll start with two Writer’s Workshop presentations:
- The Creative Writing Process with Aaron Brown of LeTourneau University.
- Collaborative creation of the @Longview150 Sesquicentennial photo book.
Then we’ll move on to our Q&A Author Panel discussion.
This year’s lineup of writer’s is very diverse, including children’s books, motivational speaking, thrillers, and historical non-fiction authors.
This valuable insight is a must for those of you working on your own writing!
Be sure to ask questions and comment along with the program.
We’ll be showing you book spotlights of items in our collection, AND there will be special prize giveaways!
Afterwards, we encourage you to meet and greet the authors of the day!
If any of you local authors would like to set up a table during Indie Author Day, please contact Leah at (903) 237-1346, or email lshreves@longviewtexas.gov
