Longview's National Night Out Kickoff Party will take place at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. This will be the 27th year the City of Longview has participated in the awareness campaign against crime. The kickoff event will feature child ID, emergency vehicle displays, vendor booths, and other fun activities for the entire family. Food will be served to the first 350 attendees. The Kickoff event is also an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in hosting a National Night Out party on October 3rd to get additional information and speak with other neighborhood watch groups, apartment complex representatives, city officials, Longview Police officers, and Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies.
