Longview Bridges Out of Poverty to Host Viewing of Movie, “Same Kind of Different As Me.”

Partners in Prevention’s Longview Bridges Out of Poverty will host a free viewing of the movie, “Same Kind of Different As Me”. This film is based on a true story of the development of an unlikely friendship between a volunteer at a mission, her husband who is an art dealer, and a homeless man. The movie will be shown on Saturday, April 28th at 10 a.m. at the 4 Star Cinema, 1607 US-259 BUS in Kilgore. After the viewing of the movie, there will be an opportunity to network and build partnerships with nonprofits and individuals who are working to overcome homelessness and poverty in East Texas. Seating is limited, so please register for this free event at Eventbrite.com by searching for LBOP – Movie Day. Concessions will not be sold at the event.
