The City of Longview will hold the 4th of July Fireworks and Freedom Celebration at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Thursday, July 4, 2019. The festival includes an air-conditioned Vendor Hall with concessions located in the Longview Exhibit Building, as well as vendors on the Exhibit Bldg. parking lot, Food and Beverage Trucks, FREE outdoor concerts - including local favorites Dagnabbit opening for headline Uncle Kracker, and a wide variety of activities - carnival rides, petting zoo, wet and dry bounce houses, water foam area, Talent Stage (with a $500 cash prize winner!), and more. The main hall at Maude Cobb Convention Center will also feature activities throughout the day, including the Patriotic Pup Fashion Show, Weenie Dog Races, and Family Feud Contest. The festival kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and the SPECTACULAR fireworks show begins at dark, approximately 9:30 p.m. Festival admission, parking and the fireworks show are free to the public; however, prices vary for individual activities.
