[ARCHIVED] Longview 150 Years - A Ride Through History - March 21

"Longview 150 Years - A Ride Through History," presented by Whataburger, will be held at Maude Cobb Convention Center on Saturday, March 21, 2020, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Various vehicles featured at the vintage and classic car show will start at Whataburger on Gilmer Rd., with a LPD/Fire escort cruise through Longview that ends at Maude Cobb Convention Center, where attendees will be guided right as they walk in and the first thing they see will be a horse-drawn buggy that will start their journey through the transportation history of Longview, eventually ending up in front of a brand new 2020 vehicle. Outside will feature a Car Show with classic automobiles. There will also be music, games, food trucks and vendors. General admission is $10, military and senior citizens are $5, city employees are $2, children 10 and under are free. Vehicles can range from 1900 to 1979 models and must be pre-registered.
