International Games Week

International Games Week: November 4 - 9, there will be a series of games set up to celebrate all week!

Monday, Nov. 4
- Super Smash Bros. Tournament (Ages 8-17): Players gather in the Moeschle Room to best one another playing SuperSmash Brothers. Who will win & get to wear the crown of victory?! 3:30-5:30PM

Tuesday, Nov. 5
- Life Size Games: Some of your favorite games have grown! Enjoy a night on the Library's Eastman Plaza as you play the yard game version of some classics like checkers, tic-tac-toe, Jenga, Twister, Yahtzee and more! All ages are welcome. 6-8:30PM. (In the event of inclement weather this program will be held in the children's department).

Wednesday, Nov. 6
- Chess For All Ages: Chess sets will be available for players of all ages to come and play inside the Moeschle Room! A chess lesson will be given at 3:30PM & 5PM if you have ever wanted to learn or need a refresher. Chess will be available to play from 3:30-5:30PM.

Thursday, Nov. 7
- Pokemon Card Game Tournament (Ages 8+): A member of the Longview Pokemon League will be hosting an un-sanctioned Pokemon Tournament in the Moeschle Room. There will be 3 age divisions, the winner from each will be awarded a prize: 8-12, 13-17,18+. The event will consist of 4 rounds each lasting approximately 30 minutes. 6-8:30PM.

Friday, Nov. 8
- Minute to Win It! Games: Come try your hand at a variety of minute-to-win-it games set-up around the Moeschle Room. This is a come & go program which will run 3:30-5:30PM. *Warning* You may look rather silly competing in some of the games!

Saturday, Nov. 9
- Beginner’s Dungeons & Dragons (Ages 13+): 8 spots available, to ensure your spot register at the youth services desk or call 903-237-1345. The campaign will begin promptly at 4:30PM. Light snacks provided. Additional tables available for independent players. Character building station & paints available for miniatures. Miniatures will be raffled to attendees throughout the night thanks to a generous donation from 3 Suns Unlimited! 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
