[ARCHIVED] Martin Luther King Community Wide Celebration and Parade

The annual Martin Luther King Community Wide Celebration and Parade will be held January 18 at 10 a.m.

Registration to participate in the parade will began Dec. 16 and will close January 17. A $10 fee will be required for each entry, and will be collected at Broughton Recreation Center on 801 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., or at the Parks and Recreation office on 130 E. Timpson St.

The route will be begin on Ryder Drive and end at Broughton Recreation Center. Staging for parade participants will begin at 9 a.m. After the parade ends there will be activities, entertainment, and food vendors available. Booth spaces in the Broughton gym will also be available to organizations.
