Library Launches "Longview 150 Stories" Podcast

Longview 150

We’ve been hard at work getting the “Longview 150 Stories” Podcast ready, and we’re happy to report that it is now live and online!

As part of Longview’s 150 Year Sesquicentennial celebration, the City of Longview, and The Longview Public Library are partnering with our diverse community and recording memories and stories of the city’s rich history.

These podcast memories will be available online to everyone during the yearly celebration, and then saved to the Library’s digital archive and website for future enjoyment.

Please access the current broadcast episodes for free, through

Mobile/tablet users can also download Podbean’s free app to search for and enjoy the episodes there.

The Longview Public Library is still seeking submissions for the project too!

Submissions may be personally recorded and emailed to for consideration.

The Library will also have dates reserved for those who don’t have the proper recording equipment to schedule an appointment where they can help assist you.

Please find all the details, including a downloadable interview release form that must be included with all submissions, here.

You may also contact Leah Shreves, at (903) 237-1350 for any inquiries.
