Residential Structure Fire

On March 20, 2020 at approximately 1130am the Longview Fire Department responded to 3201 Martin Luther King Boulevard for a reported residential structure fire.  Crews arrived and found a passenger van fully involved with fire and the fire had spread to the carport and into the house. Crews were able to gain control of the fire in approximately 20 minutes. There were no reported injuries. The owner of the vehicle told fire department investigators that he had been doing mechanical work on the van when it caught fire.

The Longview Fire Department responded with three fire engines, two ladder trucks, one ambulance and four support vehicles for a total response of twenty-one personnel.
