On October 6, 2015 at 9:29 p.m., Longview Police were dispatched to an Accident with Injuries in the 1300 Block of Mobberly Avenue. When officers arrived they found a white male laying in the roadway. It appeared he had been struck in the roadway by an unknown vehicle. The driver of that vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim of the Hit and Run died as a result of his injuries. Longview Police ask anyone who has information on this Hit and Run to contact Officer Mike Grisham at 903-237-1198. The tipster can remain anonymous by contacting Gregg County Crimestoppers at 903-236-7867. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
