[ARCHIVED] Longview Police Respond to Overnight Shooting

On November 6, 2015 at 1:24 a.m., a Longview Police Officer was on patrol in the area near the 400 Block of East Melton Street and heard several gunshots in the immediate area. The officer located the house where he believed the gunshots came from, as well as one victim. Police were able to determine that one of the victims suffered from a broken bone but had not been shot. The other victim, which police determined had been shot, had a non life-threatening injury. Both were transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. At this time the investigation is ongoing and police have not identified a suspect in this shooting.
