On Jan. 1, 2016 House Bill 910 will take effect, allowing community members that posses a handgun license to carry a handgun, exposed on their person. The Longview Police Dept. has scheduled three public meetings to educate the community on the new law.
The meetings are scheduled:
Saturday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
Monday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m.
