[ARCHIVED] Local Gang Member Arrested with Handgun During Traffic Stop

On February 7, 2016 at 11:47 p.m., Longview Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet SUV in the area of Mobberly Avenue and Myrle Avenue. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle and also identified the other people in the SUV. The driver gave consent to a vehicle search. Officers located a handgun, covered by a tan rag, in the back seat where the suspect, 20 year-old Bron'quivius Gray of Longview, was sitting. Gray is a documented TYB gang member. He was placed under arrest for Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. He was transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident. His bond was set at $250,000.
