[ARCHIVED] Women's Safety Classes - April 18, 19, 21

The Longview Police Department will hold Women's Safety Classes at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Monday, April 18th, Tuesday, April 19th, and Thursday, April 21st, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each evening. The courses will include information on women's safety, workplace violence and women, a handgun safety class, a firearms simulator shooting course, and a hands-on range day. The hands-on shooting activity will be held at the Longview Police Department Firing Range on Saturday, April 23rd. To attend a Safety Class, participants MUST pre-register, pass a background check, and be 18 years or older. Registration deadline is 5:00 p.m., April 8th.
