Mark your calendars! The City of Longview will hold the 4th of July Fireworks and Freedom Celebration at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. The festival includes an air-conditioned Vendor Hall located in the Longview Exhibit Building with concessions, as well as vendors on the Exhibit Bldg. parking lot, Food and Beverage Trucks, Texas Star Rescue Dog Adoption Trailer, FREE outdoor concerts - including Vinjac, The Black Lillies, and Band of Heathens, and a wide variety of activities - Carnival rides, Motorcycle Parade, Car Show, Historic Fly-Over, HUGE water slide and water foam area and more! The main hall at Maude Cobb Convention Center will also feature (concessions and air conditioned!) activities through out the day - Tutus & Troops Style Show, Patriotic Pup Fashion Show, Ko-cart rides, Teen Jam Dance and Lip Sync Contest. The festival kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and the SPECTACULAR fireworks show begins at dark, approximately 9:30 p.m. Festival admission, parking and the fireworks show are free to the public; however, prices vary for individual activities.
