Longview Metro Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a 2016 HUB (Historically Underutilized Businesses) Roundtable & Workshop in the Eitelman Conference Room at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Friday, December 9, 2016, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Each quarter, TAAACC (Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce) and its partners host a roundtable event in a quadrant of the state seeking to increase HUB participation in procurement and contracting with state agencies. HUB businesses and potential HUB businesses are encouraged to attend this roundtable workshop and receive one-on-one time with partnering state agencies. Anyone considering going into business, or those who plan to do business in the public sector are also encouraged to attend. Attendees will learn how to build a profitable business with City, County, State or Federal agency contracts.
