The City of Longview will hold The 4th of July Fireworks and Freedom Celebration at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Saturday, July 4, 2015. There will be activities throughout the day, including amusement rides, food and beverages, and a variety of entertainment, including vendors in the Exhibit Building, music acts, a hot dog eating contest, numerous children’s activities and much more, including free outdoor concerts by Adam Hood and Delbert McClinton. The festival opens at 11:00 a.m. and the day’s activities will be topped off with a spectacular firework display that will start at dark. Festival admission, parking and the firework show are free to the public; however, prices will vary for individual activities. The 4th of July Fireworks and Freedom Celebration is sponsored by the City of Longview and several other community sponsors.
