“National Emergency Medical Services Week (May 17 - 23) brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.” EMS Week was authorized by President Gerald Ford in 1973 to celebrate EMS practitioners and recognize the importance of their work in providing public safety. This week is a reminder and a tremendous opportunity for our community to celebrate and say thank you to our local EMS providers for the countless lives that have been saved because of the service they provide. EMS Week will be celebrated May 17-23 with the theme “EMS STRONG.”?LINK TO: http://www.emsstrong.org/
