The Longview Public Library will hold the second of four scheduled Summer Reading Club programs at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 10:30 a.m. The first program took place on June 14th and featured the Pipdillys. The next program is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21st, and will feature Matt Sandbank's Shadow Factory, a one-man traveling shadow theater based out of Austin, TX. Each of Matt's programs uses a mixture of shadow puppetry and poetry which tap into an audience's grander sense of wit and wonder. The next two programs are scheduled for June 28, and July 12. Each program will began at 10:30 a.m. on their featured Wednesday. Performers from all over the state will come and meet with kids for the FREE Summer Reading Program to entice kids to read and are appropriate for all age levels.
