The initial application to TxDOT for Intercity Bus Funding to construct a Transfer Center in the same complex as Amtrak and Greyhound was submitted in February 2016. The completion of the Transfer Center places transit riders in proximity of other transportation providers and allowed for service expansion in Longview with the addition of a new route.
